Now things have relaxed for this year, we excitedly move forward to the next Season and look forward to bringing you much more inspiration for Weddings in 2012. The Royal Wedding Timetable - Set your alarm clock early!

Here's the list of the key events that are happening throughout the day of the big Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate on Friday 29th April 2011 courtesy of http://www.itv.com/royalwedding/timetable/

•8.15am-9.45am: The general congregation will arrive at the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey.


•9.50am onwards: Governors-General and Prime Ministers of Realm Countries, the Diplomatic Corps, and other distinguished guests arrive at the Abbey.

•10.10am: The Bridegroom and Prince Henry of Wales leave Clarence House for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.15am.

•10.20am: Members of Foreign Royal Families arrive at Westminster Abbey from Buckingham Palace.

•10.20am: Mrs. Michael (Carole) Middleton and Mr. James Middleton leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.27am.

•10.25am: Members of the Royal Family (except those listed below) leave Buckingham Palace for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.30am.

•10.35am: The following Members of the Royal Family leave Buckingham Palace for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.40am:

- The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence

- The Duke of York

- Princess Eugenie of York

- Princess Beatrice of York

- The Earl and Countess of Wessex



•10.38am: The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall leave Clarence House for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.42am.

•10.40am: The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh leave Buckingham Palace for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.45am.

• 10.48am: The Bridesmaids and Pages leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey. They arrive at the Abbey at 10.55am.

•10.51am: The Bride, accompanied by Mr. Michael Middleton, leaves the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey.

•11.00am: The Marriage Service begins. The Marriage Service will be relayed by audio speakers along the Route.

•12.15pm: The Carriage Procession of the Bride and Bridegroom with a Captain’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, followed by The Queen’s Procession with a Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, leaves Westminster Abbey for Buckingham Palace.

•12.30pm: The Bride’s Carriage Procession arrives at Buckingham Palace.

•12.40pm: Members of the Royal Family and Members of Foreign Royal Families arrive at Buckingham Palace.

•12.40pm onwards: Other guests for the Reception arrive at Buckingham Palace.

•1.25pm: The Queen and the Bride and Bridegroom, together with their Families, appear on the Balcony.

•1.30pm: Fly Past by the Royal Air Force and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

A Royal Wedding Less Ordinary - Part 2: Tiaras Vs Flowers

We love that Kate wants to reflect her own style in the wedding and break away from some of the Royal wedding traditions of the past. The latest detail that Kate is considering is what to wear in her hair on her big day.

Traditionalists including Camilla have requested that Kate wear a tiara (she is becoming a Princess after all) but Kate wants her wedding look to be a little less ordinary, seemingly opting for flowers in her hair instead.

A Royal Wedding Less Ordinary - Two Royal Wedding Cakes

With the Royal Wedding upon us, the little details of the wedding are being released. It seems that even William and Kate want their wedding to be a wedding less ordinary. Breaking away from some of the traditions of the Royal Weddings in the past, William and Kate are making their own way and creating the wedding that they want, reflecting a bit of their personalities within the details of the day.

The Royal Wedding Cake (or should we say cakes)

William and Kate have decided to keep both the traditional and the modern when it comes to their wedding cake. How are they going to do this? ... by having two cakes of course. The first cake will be a traditional fruit cake made and designed by Fiona Cairns. The design will feature a sugar English rose, a Scottish thistle, the Welsh daffodil and an Irish shamrock. Not only that, but this cake will showcase the couples new cipher which will be unveiled on the big day itself and is thought to be an elegant design entwining the couples initials.

Now for the Royal Wedding Cake number two!

This is where William & Kate introduce the less ordinary to their wedding day. The Royal couple have requested a second cake to be designed and made using Prince William's favourite childhood biscuit McVities Rich Teas and chocolate.

Paul Courtney, McVities cake design and development head chef explains that the cake will be unbaked, with two new secret products made especially for the Royal couple. The cake will be modern and elegant, featuring a contemporary chocolate display.

The wedding this week that truly expresses A Wedding Less Ordinary is the wedding of Lucy and Sameer Patel who tied the knot in December 2010 on the London Eye. A beautiful setting...
